Faith - The Heart of
Catholic East
Without our faith,
Catholic East would not exist. Our community
helps each student build a solid faith
foundation in a world filled with many choices.
Our ultimate goal: Preparing each child to grow
as the faithful, responsible and giving person
that God envisions.
We
guide our students in their knowledge and
experience with the Catholic faith:
-
Our
curriculum mirrors Archdiocese of Milwaukee standards for
each subject and grade level.
-
Every day starts and ends
with prayer.
-
Daily religious studies
are part of our core curriculum.
-
Most of our
students are Roman Catholic.
-
The priests of our 5
supporting parishes take turns celebrating Mass with
us.
-
Students in Grades 3-8 celebrate Mass
weekly at SS. Peter & Paul Church at
8:15 a.m. most Thursdays. One day each month
- on a Thursday or a Holy Day of Obligation
- they walk to our Holy Rosary Campus to
celebrate an all-school Mass with the
younger grades. Click
HERE to see exact days,
times and places on our rolling calendar and
come celebrate with us!
-
Our youngest students
enjoy an age-appropriate prayer service most
Thursdays.
-
Liturgical seasons such
as Advent and Lent are taught and special
prayers include Stations of the Cross and
the Living Rosary.
-
Sacramental preparation
is conducted in cooperation with East Side Child and
Youth Ministry.
Five
dynamic parishes have sponsored Catholic East Elementary for more than 25 years.
We are their parish school!
